Chaplains serving Utah police departments, sheriff’s offices, jails, and state agencies, as named in public sources such as agency websites, council minutes, annual reports, and news coverage. Each listing links to its source. The main table lists 20 people across 21 agencies; 19 appear in a source from 2020 or later. Historical chaplains (98) are listed in a separate table below. The research and creation for this page were done in Claude and there could be errors.
This is not a complete roster. Many agencies have chaplains who have never been named publicly. Current means a source from 2020 or later, or the agency’s own current page, names the person, and nothing indicates they have since stopped serving. Unknown means the newest source is older but there is some sign the person may still serve. Historical means the person has retired, died, or stopped serving, or appears only in sources from before 2020. To correct, add, or remove a listing, contact us.
